This makes me remember an old movie with a kid as a cyborg that gets adopted that the mom gets attached too but then everyone wants to destroy all the cyborgs and in the end the cyborgkid is discovered by aliens under 1000 meters of ice and they ressurect his mom and the cyborgkid gets to spend one more day with her. Sad movie. And somehow I could see Scootaloo playing that role
